Teaching
Huw is Professor of Saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music in London and regularly gives masterclasses at conservatoires in the UK and abroad. He draws on his extensive performance and teaching experience to offer students a well-rounded, practical and inspiring approach to their music education.
He has given masterclasses in the UK at the Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Chethams School of Music and the Purcell School and internationally at NAFA, Singapore and the Universities of Lethbridge and Calgary in Canada.
Arts Organisations he has worked with include Future Talent UK and the Royal Over-seas League. Huw is an Ambassador for the Henley Music School and has been a guest tutor on summer courses throughout the UK including the Music Summer School and Festival held at Gresham’s School in Norfolk.
